the Challenge
the Aim
- Suggest another fun way for children to engage with others in digital age.
- Open up an opportunity for children to become next generation of content creators, spread good values and have fun.
- Celebrate the young talent, who are exceptionally bright in various areas such as writing, drawing, presenting, filming, playing with friends…
the Rules
Each individual or team (maximum 3 members) creates at least 1 interesting & developmental game with criterias as follows:
- Screen-free games (face-to-face interaction, for example: boardgames, physical games, etc.) for kids (6 – 15 year-old) to play with parents.
- Prop-free (using hands, mouth, etc.) or just need to prepare simple prop (paper, pen, crayon, cup, etc.)
- Can play anytime, anywhere (not limited by time and space)
- The content of the game must be geared towards developing at least 1 of the 6 necessary skills for kids to be global citizens: Creativity, Resilience, Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Self Management, Negotiation.

Oct 30: Kick-off Event
Research to find ideas for game content (authentic ideas are encouraged). Develop the idea to make sure it meets the criterias.
Nov 07 - 18: Creating the game
Create a step-by-step game instruction. Suggested formats: Real footage, Animation video, Motion video, Illustration images, Mix images and video, etc. (feel free to be creative)
Nov 18: Submission Date
Submit the game description and instruction to the Beme team via email: buildaworldofplay@gmail.com before 11:59 pm. All works will be uploaded on Beme – mobile app
Nov 21 - 27: Promoting games
Help the team climb the leaderboard by spreading the game in some cool ways. Inviting others to play and vote on the Beme app.
Nov 30: Award Ceremony
